Pancakes are not just for breakfast anymore. Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Tuesday or Pancake day is the day of February or March immediately preceding Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent), which is celebrated by eating pancakes. Mardi Gras is a carnival day, the last day of gorging before fasting for Lent. Hang up your apron and take the night off from the cooking. Come join us downstairs for a stack of sticky delicious pancakes and get your Mardi Gras on.
