Stephen Ministry

“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2) Stephen Ministers at First Baptist Church have been bringing care to those in need since 2002. Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who have received a minimum of 50 hours of training in Christian caregiving. Stephen Ministers are trained to listen, care, encourage, pray and walk alongside you during difficult times. It’s confidential and free to members and nonmembers. Are you going through a tough time emotionally or spiritually?

Are you struggling with a crisis in life? Or are you simply feeling down? Consider letting a Stephen Minister help you. To learn how you can receive care, talk with a pastor (216-932-7480) or contact us online. For more information on Stephen Ministries please visit their website at www.stephenministries.org  or www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics
