Stephen Ministries is an independent, not-for-profit Christian educational organization, founded in 1975 and based in St. Louis, Missouri. The organization draws its name from St. Stephen. In the book of Acts, Chapter 6, Stephen was chosen to provide caring ministry to those in need. Since the days of the Apostles, caring ministry has been a hallmark of the Christian faith community—and is at the heart of what Stephen Ministries does. If you need help working through depression, grief or a loss our Stephen Ministers have been trained to provide one-to-one Christian care to people who are hurting. We also can help with a cancer diagnosis and some of the next steps. We have a book for people diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones, helping them navigate the challenges ahead. Complete the form below to have one of our trained grief counselors contact you to help.
The Stephen Ministers meet Wednesdays at the church from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm in the Livingstone Room.
