First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland is known for its warmth and hospitality. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds. We enjoy experiencing a lively mix of music, drama, and preaching.
Our diversity is our strength. It enriches our worship services and our social groups. A wide variety of social groups are offered, from general functions open to all age groups, to age specific and gender specific groups and activities.
Covenant groups are small groups that meet regularly for study, prayer and fellowship, typically meeting at members’ homes. To find out about joining a covenant groups, contact the church office at 216-932-7480.
Men’s Wednesday Morning Study
Open to all men, this small group meets Wednesdays at 7 am for study – usually using “The Great Courses” DVD curriculum. Recent studies have included topics like the Dead Sea scrolls, the development of the New Testament canon, and the archaeology and geography of the Holy Land. This vibrant group of couples from their 20’s to their 50’s meets monthly in members’ homes for a potluck dinner, conversation, games and a chance to meet new people. For more information, contact Shayne Nevins here.
