Wednesday Farmer's Market

FBC hosts a farmer's market on Wednesday evenings from 4-7 p.m. from June 2 through October 6.

As Christians, we believe that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit; that our lives are a gift from God and that accordingly, we have a commitment to be good stewards of our bodies.  We know that buying food that is grown locally is not only better for us, it's better for the environment.  We are trying to spread the word throughout Cleveland about local, sustainable, whole food grown and sold locally.

We have contracted with farmers like Maple Valley Sugar Bush and Blue Pike Farm who grow vegetables of all sorts and ten maple syrup-related products.  the farms practice sustainable agriculture and grow foods locally.  New Creation Farm will supply grass-fed beef and free-range chicken.  The hamburgers sold for dinner will come from New Creation.  Hartzler All Natural Dairy will supply all natural cream-top milk, bottled in glass.  They are certified chemical-free.  No herbicides, pesticides or artificial hormones are used on any of their farms.  They will also be selling non-homogenized whole, 2%, skim and chocolate (pasteurized) milk, eggs, ice cream, grass-fed range chickens and cheese. Clearlake Farm will sell produce including mustard greens, micro-greens, sprouts, beets, cucumbers, kale, peppers and a variety of herbs. Joshua Valley keeps our canine friends happy with organic dog food and treats AND doggie bling.

The market will also have vegan baked goods from VIM VEGAN, homemade breads and cookies, granola, hummus and even vegan doggie treats!  Unlike other farmer's markets, FBC is not charging the farmers to participate, so shoppers can save even more.  A light dinner can be purchased while you're shopping; smoothies using fresh fruits and produce will be on sale.  There will be activities for children, and fellowship so people can "stay, eat and shop." If you are a farmer or food vendor and would like to be part of the market at no cost to you; contact us at or at 216-932-7480.

More details, as well as order forms can be found on our Facebook site:  under FBC Farmers Market.  Become a fan of the site and get the latest updates on products, special events and farmer websites.  See you there!
