Sunday Mornings Mean High-Energy Fun in Elevate

Sundays are the premiere teaching time for children Pre-K up to 4th grade ... and they'll love this year's emphasis! During both the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services, children are invited to experience "Elevate" - an interactive, multimedia-driven teaching time that drives home a single biblical point in a way that's delightfully fun and understandable.  Each teaching theme of Elevate is 8 weeks long, but every lesson is independent, so children who miss a Sunday don't feel left out.

Between services during the Discipleship Hour, children participate in additional activities that relate to each week's teaching theme, using music, games, crafts and small group interaction to reinforce the main point.  Children are dismissed directly from each worship service to attend Elevate.

Current Elevate Unit:  "Under the Big Top"
Get ready for three rings of awesomeness as we follow the adventures of Penny Worth, the newest member of Percival Von Schnitzel's Big Top Circus.  In the company of jugglers, acrobats, strong men, clowns and tightrope walkers, Penny learns about God has given her unique gifts and abilities.  Our children will learn basic lessons about spiritual giftedness, and how God gives us those gifts to help others.  They'll also enjoy fresh-made popcorn each Sunday!

Church Nursery

The church nursery is open for all Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services – a nurturing place for children too young to participate in older children’s activities.  Staffed with paid, professional caregivers, the nursery is a safe and loving environment where little ones will thrive and learn by example that God loves them.

Wednesday Evening Blahs? Try Kids Primetime!

After a full day of school, our agenda for kids during PrimeTime is to have FUN...with a capital "F"! In a relaxed and enjoyable setting, a typical evening may include playing games, hanging with friends, making crafts or special emphases during holiday season. Some kids just like to cuddle and read a good book, and everybody enjoys a good time together! PrimeTime for kids is not a teaching time, but a time for building positive relationships with adults and having a great time with friends while mom or dad attend classes.

Special Children's Events

Several times throughout the year, the children’s ministry sponsors themed events, trips or special events.  It may be a family movie night, “boys only” or “girls only” activities (think Pirate Night or Princess Party), or an outing to local Cleveland attractions like Patterson Farms or the zoo.  These are times when the whole family is welcome to participate.
